ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360

REASONS TO BUY

  • Top-of-the-line performance
  • Amazing value for the money
  • Impeccable build quality
  • 6-year warranty
  • Clean, industrial design
  • Near silent operation
  • Easy to install

REASONS TO AVOID

  • No RGB lighting

Our Rating:   9.9/10

The Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 is easily our number one recommendation, as it dominates the competition in nearly every aspect. It features an insanely high performance per dollar, high-quality construction, near-silent operation, and the best warranty coverage in the industry.

Of course, some may see the lack of RGB LEDs as a downside. They basically dominate the CPU accessory market, but to many, their luster is beginning to wear off. The Liquid Freezer II 360 is still a great-looking cooler, boasting a matte black paint job and stylish pump head that looks like something out of a science fiction movie.

The pump head even features a small 40mm fan to help with VRM cooling, indicating ARCTIC’s desire to prize function over form.

In terms of compatibility, the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 supports nearly all modern processors. As far as AMD processors go, it’s compatible with all sockets, including the newest AM5. On the Intel side, it readily interfaces with the LGA 1700, 1200, 115X, the square ILM 2011-3, and the square ILM 2066 sockets.

Performance-wise, the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 is a heavy-duty cooler and sits at the top of the class. It’s one of the absolute best performing 360mm AIO coolers and will keep any processor, be it the newest i9 or Ryzen 9 chip, cool no matter what, even under sustained workloads.

However, the most impressive thing about the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer II 360 is the near-silent operation. It’s one of the quietest 360mm AIO coolers out there, and almost nothing matches its thermal and acoustic performance combined.

Lastly, this AIO cooler represents an insane value, coming in at the cost of the average 240mm cooler. And on top of that, it’s covered by a 6-year warranty from the manufacturer, which is only offered by Arctic, Phanteks, and NZXT. Other manufacturers only offer 2-5 years of coverage on AIOs.

All things considered, the Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 is, just like any cooler from this lineup, an exceptional AIO. It features top cooling performance, silent operation, and top-notch build quality, all for more than a fair price. If you don’t care for fancy RGB lights and only care about functionality and low cost, look no further!

2. Phanteks Glacier One 360MPH D-RGB

Radiator Dimensions: 394 x 120 x 27mm / 15.5 x 4.7 x 1.1” | Fans Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7  x 1” | Fan Speed: 500 – 2200 ± 10% RPM | Noise Volume: 18 – 34.2 dBA | Warranty: 6 years

Phanteks Glacier One 360MPH D-RGB

REASONS TO BUY

  • Powerful cooling performance
  • Compatible with all modern CPUs
  • High-performing fans
  • Silent operation at idle
  • Covered by a 6-year warranty
  • Bright, vibrant RGB lighting
  • Stylish pump head

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Louder pump
  • No dedicated control software

Our Rating:   9.8/10

There are a couple of directions you can go when shopping for a CPU cooler or really any component for your PC. You can go with a company like NZXT or ASUS, which does everything, and get something that’s designed and tested with overall compatibility in mind.

Or you can go with a company like Arctic or Phanteks that only does a small handful of things. Phanteks primarily makes cases and coolers, and that laser-focused expertise creates some truly excellent products.

One example of that is the Phanteks Glacier One 360MPH D-RGB, which is as powerful of a cooler as it is gorgeous. The Glacier One is equipped with three of Phanteks’ 120mm MP PWM RGB fans, which have the LED ring embedded inside, lighting up the whole fan and creating a stunning effect.

At 34 dB, they’re a tiny bit louder than the fans on the Liquid Freezer II. However, they max out at 2200 RPM, delivering fantastic static pressure to force as much air as possible across the radiator and keep your CPU cool even under heavy loads.

Design-wise, the Glacier One isn’t any larger than any other 360mm AIO cooler, but it looks a bit bulkier, even when installed. Any RGB AIO cooler is going to stand out quite a bit, but this one is really going to stick out on any build that’s not an all-white, or at least primarily white-themed build. There is a black version available, but the lighting doesn’t pop as much on that one.

Furthermore, the CPU block on the Phanteks Glacier One 360MPH is a square with a V-shaped row of RGB lights equipped. The Phanteks logo is visible but doesn’t monopolize that space, which is frustrating, though a minor issue with a lot of other AIO coolers, especially those with boring logos.

The Phanteks Glacier One 360MPH ships with a full mounting kit, including the bracket, screws, and tube clips necessary to install and carefully place the cooler on any 360mm by 120mm mount. The tubes are well constructed and covered with a mesh to help protect them from direct damage.

In terms of compatibility, the cooler is compatible with all AMD sockets, including the sTRX4 and TRX4, and Intel sockets up to the 14th generation. This way, you won’t have to purchase any additional mounting kits for newer CPUs.

Performance-wise, the Phanteks Glacier One 360MPH can be used with virtually any modern gaming CPU. It offers excellent cooling performance and will easily handle overclocking the likes of the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X or the Intel i9-13900K.

Lastly, the warranty covers the original purchaser against issues with parts or assembly for up to six years. That’s the best coverage you’re going to get for an AIO liquid cooler, on par with top brands like Arctic or NZXT.

Overall, the Phanteks Glacier One 360MPH D-RGB is easily one of the best 360mm AIOs on the market. It offers excellent cooling performance, heavy-duty fans, and great RGB implementation. It’s a bit pricey, but, in my opinion, worth the money.

3. NZXT Kraken Z73

Radiator Dimensions: 394 x 121 x 27mm / 15.5 x 4.8 x 1.1” | Fans Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 26mm / 4.7 x 4.7  x 1” | Fan Speed: 500 ~ 2000 RPM | Noise Volume: 21 – 36 dBA | Warranty: 6 years

NZXT Kraken Z73

REASONS TO BUY

  • Top cooling performance
  • LED display on the pump head
  • Compatibility with all modern CPUs
  • Intuitive CAM software
  • High-quality construction
  • 6-year warranty

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Premium price
  • No RGB
  • Louder fans

Our Rating:   9.7/10

NZXT was amongst the first to outfit their AIO coolers with LED displays, a trend that continues with the Kraken Z73.

While other coolers offer an RGB light setup on the pump head, NZXT turns up the volume and offers an LED screen on top of the Z73’s pump head. While the screen can display just about any image you’d want, it’s at its best when it’s used as a temperature readout. The rest of the cooler is completely blacked and looks as intimidating as a PC cooler possibly can.

However, the installation of the NZXT Kraken Z73 isn’t intimidating at all, provided your tower can accommodate a 360mm radiator. The hoses are quite lengthy, and the hose fittings and pump head swivel with ease, allowing for a variety of configurations.

You’ll have full control over the LED screen and cooler unit thanks to NZXT’s CAM software. This software offers incredible control over your AIO cooler. You can set the image for the LED screen, control pump and fan speeds, and swap between cooling profiles. It’s one of the best cooler software out there.

Temperature testing indicated that the NZXT Kraken Z73 is a powerful performer. In a test performed on an Intel i7 running a 4.2 GHz, the Z73 kept the PC running at a temperature of 49.6°C over ambient under load, matching the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R. Notably, it outperformed the AlphaCool Eissturm Hurricane custom cooling kit, which is an impressive accomplishment for an AIO cooler.

Acoustically, the NZXT Kraken Z73 didn’t fare as well. It was the loudest cooler in the test, with its 3 120mm fans producing 39.2 dBa, the highest measurement in the group by a decent margin.

Compatibility-wise, the Z73 will pair with almost all modern Intel sockets, including the LGA 1700, 1200, 1151, 1150, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-3, and 2066 sockets. This AIO also boasts support for AMD’s Threadripper platform and matches up with the AM5, AM4, TR4, and STRX4 sockets.

While this is a stylish cooler with some cool features and good performance, it’s quite expensive. It costs almost twice as much as some of the more affordable 360mm coolers. However, to add more value, NZXT includes a 6-year warranty, the best in the industry.

While the LED screen is fantastic, and the performance is great as well, the one thing holding this cooler down is its high price. With that being said, if you’re looking for a premium 360mm AIO cooler and have the money to spend, the Kraken Z73 is probably the most advanced 360mm AIO on the market.

4. NZXT Kraken X73 RGB

Radiator Dimensions: 394 x 121 x 27mm / 15.5 x 4.7 x 1.1” | Fans Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7  x 1” | Fan Speed: 500 ~ 1500 ± 300 RPM | Noise Volume: 22 – 33 dBA | Warranty: 6 years

NZXT Kraken X73 RGB

REASONS TO BUY

  • Highly efficient cooling
  • One of the most popular AIO coolers
  • Compatible with all modern CPUs
  • Vibrant RGB lighting
  • Covered by a 6-year warranty
  • Easy to install
  • Fairly quiet fans

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Higher price
  • The logo on the cooler block is a bit uninspiring

Our Rating:   9.6/10

NZXT is one of the few brands on the market in 2024 that you could use to build an entire gaming PC. Their closest competitor for this purpose is ASUS’s highly regarded ROG Strix gaming division, which should tell you something about the quality available from the NZXT Kraken series.

NZXT’s Kraken series has a number of AIO coolers, including multiple 360mm coolers, but for this review, we’re looking at the NZXT Kraken X73 RGB specifically. The Kraken X73 RGB is available in either black or white and comes equipped with three Aer RGB V2 fans. These fans are made in-house by NZXT, which guarantees greater compatibility, and max out at a noticeable but still pleasantly quiet 33 dB.

The pump head for the cooler features the NZXT logo and an RGB ring that syncs with the rest of the RGB elements in the cooler. The NZXT logo is kind of boring, so if you’re all about lights and customization, you could upgrade to the Z73 from above, a mostly identical cooler with an LCD screen embedded in the CPU block.

Now, the Kraken X73 RGB ships with a mounting bracket and screws and will be compatible with all 120mm by 360mm mounts. It’s worth noting that some smaller cases can be a little cramped on the top cooler mounts, so if you’re starting from scratch, we’d definitely recommend checking reviews for any compatibility notes.

Compatibility-wise, the X73 interfaces with all modern processors. including the latest Intel and AMD processors.

As for the performance of this cooler, the Kraken X73 RGB is easily one of the most effective 360mm AIO coolers in 2024. The large radiator and efficient 7th gen pump make this perfect for overclocked CPUs and high core count/clock rate CPUs that can run hot. Even under a full load and overclocking, the Kraken X73 should keep you running for a long time.

In addition to the performance, this cooler also boasts a high-quality construction. Plus, the rubber used for the hoses has a good amount of strength and flex and is covered by a mesh sleeve for added durability.

NZXT’s warranty has a six-year coverage for defects but is extremely specific that this is limited solely to defects, with no coverage for accidents, misuse, improper installation, and so on. It’s a very easy cooler to install, so you shouldn’t let the narrow scope of coverage for the warranty scare you off.

All in all, the NZXT Kraken X73 RGB is everything you want out of a liquid cooler. In fact, it’s one of the most popular coolers ever made. It offers top-of-the-line performance, quality construction, and vibrant RGB lighting. The only real downside of this cooler is the higher price.

5. Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix

Radiator Dimensions: 397 x 120 x 27mm / 15.6 x 4.7 x 1.1” | Fans Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7  x 1” | Fan Speed: Up to 2400 RPM | Noise Volume: 10 – 37 dBA | Warranty: 5 years

Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix

REASONS TO BUY

  • Top cooling performance
  • Quality, durable build
  • Quiet operation at idle
  • Quite affordable for a Corsair product
  • Excellent control software
  • Covered by a 5-year warranty
  • Vibrant RGB lighting

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Still on the pricier side
  • Louder under heavy loads

Our Rating:   9.5/10

Not only is the Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix a great AIO cooler that comes with a full RGB setup, but it also features Corsair’s Commander Core controller that allows you to take full control of your system.

First things first, the Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix looks stunning. It features the full suite of RGB on its pump head and on all three of its fans. The lights are incredibly vibrant and blend impeccably, should you decide to customize them. Corsair even includes a swappable faceplate for the pump head so you can subdue the RGB under a black plate.

Corsair’s iCUE software has long been heralded as some of the best AIO cooler software on the market, but the Commander Core takes that to the next level. With Commander Core, you’ll be able to go even deeper into your PC and monitor your hardware and system management with logging. Of course, you’ll still be able to control your AIO, too.

As far as socket compatibility goes, the Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix interfaces with just about every major CPU on the market. It supports Intel LGA 1700, 1200, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, and 2066 sockets, as well as the AMD AM5, AM4, AM3, AM2, sTRX4, and sTR4 sockets.

This Corsair’s cooling abilities are incredibly impressive. It cooled an overclocked i7 CPU running at 4.2 GHz to 50.1°C over ambient under load. It came with 0.5°C of the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360 and the NZXT Kraken Z73, two of the top-performing coolers in the 360mm class, and outperformed the Cougar Helor 360. If you’re looking for some serious cooling performance, the Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix has it in spades.

However, Corsair’s fans are a bit noisy. It was the loudest cooler in the test at 40.2 dBa, but that’s still relatively quiet compared to some other coolers on the list. It’s a far cry from 60.4 dBa posted by the EVGA CLC 360mm AIO RGB.

Overall, the Corsair iCUE H150i Elite Capellix is one of the best-performing 360mm AIO coolers available in 2024. Surprisingly, for a Corsair product, it offers solid performance per dollar as well. Combined with the RGB lighting, quality of construction, and 5-year warranty, you can’t really go wrong with the H150i Elite Capellix.

6. Lian Li Galahad AIO UNI FAN SL Edition 360

Radiator Dimensions: 398 x 124 x 27mm / 15.7 x 4.9 x 1.1” | Fans Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 26mm / 4.7 x 4.7  x 1” | Fan Speed: 800 – 1900 ± 10% RPM | Noise Volume: Up to 31 dBA | Warranty: 5 years

Lian Li Galahad AIO UNI FAN SL Edition White

REASONS TO BUY

  • Top-of-the-line cooling performance
  • High-quality construction
  • Compatible with the latest CPUs
  • Unique look with octagonal RGB strips and polished aluminum
  • One of the quietest AIO coolers out there
  • Easy control of daisy-chained fans
  • Covered by a 5-year warranty

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Inconsistent inclusion of newer mounting brackets, including LGA 1700
  • Higher price

Our Rating:   9.5/10

Lian Li is mostly known for their cases, but these days, most case manufacturers also make coolers of some kind. This tends to make installation easier and will typically give you a solidly mounted radiator or set of fans that make the best use of any available ventilation.

That’s not to say that coolers are exclusive to cases made by the same manufacturer, but they will often be a better fit, both literally and figuratively. The Lian Li Galahad AIO UNI FAN SL Edition 360 is designed to complement the large metal and glass cases made by Lian Li, which you’ll see in both performance and design.

The Lian Li Galahad AIO UNI FAN SL Edition 360 is available in either black or white, but we’re going to look at the white version purely because the polished aluminum accents add some extra wow factor to the overall cooler. The three SL120 UNI fans included feature an angular LED strip on the very outside, which, coupled with those aluminum accents, make this a very cyberpunk-looking AIO cooler.

They’re also very quiet, maxing out at 31 dB, and the lights are very easy to sync with one another and other RGB elements you have installed. The CPU block is also polished aluminum, and the Lian Li logo on the faceplate can be covered if you prefer to have just metal and lights showing rather than any corporate branding. The RGB lights on the CPU block aren’t super powerful but are still noticeable there.

Furthermore, the Lian Li Galahad AIO UNI FAN SL Edition 360 has a bit lower profile than the average 360mm AIO, though not to a degree that will likely impact installation and compatibility in anything but the most extreme cases. Outside of the possible issue with the mounting bracket, this will be compatible with any case that has a 360 mm x 120 mm radiator space.

Like most coolers this size, it’s going to be compatible with virtually any CPU under any workload. It supports the LGA 1700, 115X, LGA 1366, LGA 775, LGA 1200, LGA 2011, LGA 2066, and AM5 and older sockets.

Performance-wise, the Galahad offers similar performance to the best 360mm AIO coolers on the market and will keep the most powerful CPUs at low temperatures with ease. In fact, in testing performed on an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X, it posted the best results of the bunch, besting even our top selection, the Arctic Liquid Freezer II, by a small margin.

Lastly, the tubing is covered with a woven mesh but still doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as some of the other AIO coolers. If there are any issues, it’s covered by a five-year warranty against any defects in materials or assembly.

Overall, the Lian Li Galahad AIO UNI FAN SL Edition 360 is, in our opinion, the most visually striking 360mm AIO. It offers excellent performance, stunning looks, and incredibly high-quality construction. If aesthetics are as important as performance to you, I highly recommend this one.

7. Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360P Silver Edition ARGB

Radiator Dimensions: 394 x 119 x 27mm / 15.5 x 4.7 x 1.1” | Fans Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7  x 1” | Fan Speed: 650 – 1800 RPM | Noise Volume: 8 – 30 dBA | Warranty: 2 years

Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360P Silver Edition ARGB

REASONS TO BUY

  • Excellent cooling performance
  • One of the quietest 360mm AIO CPU cooler
  • Stylish metallic design
  • High-quality construction
  • Integrated fan for maximized airflow
  • Rugged, premium tubing and sheaths
  • Addressable RGB + a controller

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Shorter warranty period (2 years)
  • Integrated fans will make it harder to replace or repair
  • The LGA 1700 mounting bracket needs to be purchased separately

Our Rating:   9.4/10

Cooler Master’s cases tend to be extremely well-ventilated, so if you combine one of their cases with one of their coolers, like the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360P Silver Edition ARGB, you’ll find that you’re getting a highly efficient cooling experience for both liquid and hybrid cooling systems.

The Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360P Silver Edition ARGB has taken full advantage of Cooler Master’s status as the manufacturer. Rather than fixing three of their preexisting models of fans to the radiator, they have integrated them into a single bar that’s then installed directly onto the radiator.

Having as much of your radiator as possible directly covered by fans (and, to a lesser extent, fan casings) allows you to maximize the air that’s flowing directly across the radiator. The fans used are very quiet, maxing out at just 30db, one of the quietest on this list, if only by a couple of decibels. In addition, the fans are very stable since they are integrated rather than installed.

The RGB elements in the fans are directly addressable and can also be controlled with Cooler Master’s control software. They’re very bright and can overwhelm other, more subtle, lighting elements you may have installed.

The Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R ARGB has excellent airflow and powerful fans, allowing it to handle virtually any CPU. It’ll need to work hard to sustain high levels of overclocking on larger CPUs, but anything 16 cores and under will not be a problem for it in the least. It’s configured for most currently circulating CPU sockets, including the new LGA 1700 and AM5 sockets.

Further, the CPU block has a simplified, RGB-lit version of the Cooler Master logo and a second RGB ring around it. It’s a good mix of style and branding, and it’s always nice to see a company not insisting on itself to such a high degree.

The tubing on the cooler is well-secured and covered in high-quality mesh. It’s much more rugged and tightly woven than a lot of the other mesh sheaths we looked at for this review.

The Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R ARGB ships with the screws and rack necessary to mount it on any 120mm by 360mm radiator space. It also ships with a wired ARGB controller to more easily synchronize and control your RGB elements.

The warranty on Cooler Master products, at least the AIO CPU coolers, is only two years. That’s quite a bit shorter than a lot of the other manufacturers, so you’ll have to decide if the performance here is worth risking something going wrong outside of the warranty period.

The warranty only covers manufacturing defects, which are either going to be immediately obvious or manifest within a few months of use, so a two-year warranty period is adequate even if it is technically shorter.

All in all, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360P Silver Edition ARGB is an excellent 360mm AIO cooler. It doesn’t have much to distinguish it in appearance the way a lot of white or silver editions often do, but it performs extremely well and adds an excellent visual punch with the vibrant lighting. The integrated fan bar is a mixed blessing, especially with the shorter warranty period.

8. Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360 Mirror

Radiator Dimensions: 394 x 120 x 27mm / 15.5 x 4.7 x 1.1” | Fans Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7  x 1” | Fan Speed: 650 – 1800 +/- 5% RPM | Noise Volume: 8 – 27 dBA | Warranty: 2 years

Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360 Mirror

REASONS TO BUY

  • Top cooling performance
  • High-quality construction
  • Near silent operation
  • Very budget-friendly
  • Easy to install
  • Highly compatible

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Limited RGB lighting
  • Only a 2-year warranty

Our Rating:   9.3/10

Boasting a mirrored pump head, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360 Mirror is one of the most visually appealing coolers in the 360mm class.

While Cooler Master isn’t the first to outfit their AIO coolers with mirrored pump heads, their design is beautiful. It’s also ringed with addressable RGB LEDs to complete the look. Unfortunately, the RGB implementation is limited to the pump head. Aside from the pump head, this cooler is painted the typical glossy black and looks like your average AIO cooler.

Cooler Master has spared no expense with regard to the quality of the ML360 Mirror’s components. It features a dual-pump design for improved water flow and comes bolstered with EPDM, an industrial plastic to fight against leakage. The Sickleflow 120mm fans also come in a rubberized housing to reduce noise.

Compatibility-wise, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360 Mirror will interface with most major processors. It’s compatible with the Intel LGA 1700, 1200, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 2011, and 2066. AMD support includes FM1, FM2, FM2+, AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, AM4, and AM5.

Installing the ML360 Mirror is a breeze, thanks to the included instruction manual and individually packaged brackets. While the hose length may pose a bit of an issue, most people won’t have any problem installing this AIO.

The cooling abilities of the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360 Mirror rank it near the top of the 360mm class. It cooled an Intel i5 to just 25°C at idle and to 41.75°C under load. It outperformed the Silverstone PF360, another 360mm AIO. While the i5 isn’t the most powerful processor, this cooling test demonstrates that the ML360 Mirror is a worthy choice and can manage typical cooling needs.

However, what’s even more impressive is the sound-dampening abilities of this Cooler Master. At full speed, the fans output just 32 dBa, a level that would be virtually undetectable given a normal setup in a tower. If you’re looking for a near-silent cooler, the ML360 Mirror is a great option.

All-in-all, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360 Mirror is a very capable 360mm AIO cooler. It offers good performance and quiet operation at a really great price point. Plus, its mirrored pump head makes it one of the most handsome coolers on the market as well.

The only drawbacks are the lack of RGB on the fans and its shorter, 2-year warranty. However, if you’re enjoying its aesthetics, there’s no big reason to pass on this cooler.

Radiator Dimensions: 395 x 120 x 27mm / 15.6 x 4.7 x 1.1” | Fans Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7  x 1” | Fan Speed: 550 – 2200 +/- 10% RPM | Noise Volume: Up to 36.4 dBA | Warranty: 5 years

EK 360mm AIO D-RGB

REASONS TO BUY

  • Exceptional build quality
  • Top cooling performance
  • 5-year warranty
  • Very easy to install
  • Fairly quiet overall

  • Loud at max RPM

Our Rating:   9.2/10

EK has long been a household name in the water-cooling community thanks to their award-winning custom loop systems. Now, they look to break into the AIO market with the EK 360mm AIO D-RGB.

Like many other AIO manufacturers, EK leans heavily into RGB implementation. It features the lights on all three of its fans and on its custom-designed pump head. The pump head is rather boxy and isn’t all that inspiring visually, clearly a case of function over form. It’s based on EK’s SPC series pump, drawing inspiration from their custom cooling configurations.

Installation of the EK 360mm AIO D-RGB is very simple. Screwing the mounting block in place is a straightforward process and the hose length is adequate for just about any tower configuration.

Additionally, the included manual comes in the form of a book rather than a single sheet of paper and provides detailed instructions and pictures to aid in installation. Those new to the AIO cooler game will certainly appreciate its inclusion.

The cooling performance of the EK 360mm AIO D-RGB is amongst the best in the 360mm class. It outperformed the DEEPCOOL Castle 360 EX and Cooler Master ML360, other 360mm coolers featured on this list, in a cooling test done on an Intel i7 running at 3.7 GHz.

The EK cooler kept the PC at just 3°C over ambient at idle and a very impressive 32°C over ambient under load. When the i7 was overclocked to 4.8 GHz, it posted temperatures of 53°C over ambient at idle and 58°C under load. This is clearly a high-performance cooler that can help you get the best out of your CPU.

The compatibility of the D-RGB is great for AMD users, with compatibility for the latest AM5 socket. Intel users are also completely covered, as this cooler will interface with the LGA 1700, 1200, 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, 2011, and 2066.

While the price is on the higher end for what you’d expect to pay for a 360mm cooler, the EK 360mm AIO D-RGB does come with a five-year warranty.

EK looks to set themselves apart from their competitors in the AIO cooler market. Drawing on their past success with custom loop setups, they reimagined the pump head to great success. While it looks a little blocky compared to some of the sleeker options on the market, the EK 360mm AIO D-RGB delivers where it matters most: cooling performance.

Our Rating:   9.1/10

The ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB boasts the complete RGB setup on both its pump head and fan blades, something RGB enthusiasts will be thrilled to see; however, the cooler does not offer enough to justify its high price point.

Aside from the full suite of RGB, the ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB is a typical-looking AIO cooler. It comes painted in the expected flat black and features a circular, gear-shaped pump head proudly displaying the Republic of Gamers logo.

You’ll be able to take control of the AIO thanks to ASUS’s Aura Sync software package. It controls the RGB lighting, the pump, and fan speed and offers cooling profiles to swap between. While it’s nothing earth-shattering or out of the ordinary, its inclusion is a good value for those who want to avoid messing around in BIOS.

The quality of the ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB’s components is what you’d expect to find on a high-quality AIO cooler. The pump head is incredibly solid and feels very well-made, while its tubing is sleeved in nylon and is a good length that allows easy installation. The fan housing is also solid and does a good job of mitigating noise.

Performance-wise, the ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB lives up to the Republic of Gamers namesake. With an i9, we noted temperatures around 32°C at idle and around 80°C under load. An i9 is a very powerful CPU, so seeing cooling results like these is very impressive. You’ll be able to game in peace with this cooler and not worry about frying your PC.

This cooling performance is in large part due to ASUS’s optimized fan design. The ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB fans generate more airflow and apply more static pressure than other AIO fans.

As for compatibility, this cooler covers all popular sockets on the market today. It matches up with the Intel LGA 1700, 1200, 1150, 1151, 1152, 1155, 1156, 1366, 2011, 2011-3, and 2066. AMD support includes the latest AM5 socket.

While the ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB is one of the more expensive 360mm AIO coolers on the market, it does come with a five-year manufacturer warranty.

Designed with the gamer in mind, the ASUS ROG Strix LC 360 RGB is a stylish full-RGB AIO cooler that offers great cooling performance and will easily cool the most powerful CPUs out there. While its price is a bit higher, it still provides good value and is a great option for anyone, even those who aren’t already fans of the Republic of Gamers line.

Radiator Dimensions: 402 x 120 x 27mm / 15.8 x 4.7 x 1.1” | Fans Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7  x 1” | Fan Speed: 500 ~ 1800 +/- 10% RPM | Noise Volume: Up to 32.1 dBA | Warranty: 3 years

DEEPCOOL Castle 360EX_1

REASONS TO BUY

  • Great build quality
  • Decent cooling performance
  • Easy to install
  • Highly compatible

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Only a 3-year warranty
  • Higher price
  • Limited RGB lighting

Our Rating:   8.9/10

Featuring anti-leak technology, the DEEPCOOL Castle 360EX is the latest in a long line of AIO coolers from DEEPCOOL.

The Castle 360EX boasts RGB implementation on its pump head but not on any of its three 120mm fans. RGB superfans will be slightly disappointed by DEEPCOOL’s reserved approach, but the more relaxed design makes it a suitable partner for any tower. You’ll control the RGB with your motherboard.

Its socket support is quite good, and no major form factor is left behind. It’ll readily interface with the Intel LGA 1700, 1200, 1150,1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, 1366, 2011, and 2066, as well as the AMD AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+, FM1, FM2, FM2+, AM4, AM5, and TR4.

Upon closer inspection, you’ll find the components of the DEEPCOOL Castle 360EX to be quite typical. You’ll get the standard boxy radiator and over 400mm of sleeved tubing outfitted with swivel fittings for easier installation. Interestingly, its pump head rotates, so it’s always oriented in the right position. The radiator also features an emergency release valve, which comprises DEEPCOOL’s anti-leak technology.

As far as cooling performance goes, the DEEPCOOL Castle 360EX is around the middle of the pack. It doesn’t feature the cooling ability that the powerful Thermaltake Floe Riing RGB 360 TT Premium Edition is capable of, but it will get the job done.

In a test performed on an Intel i7 running at 3.7 GHz, the Castle 360EX cooled the PC to 27°C over ambient at idle and 58°C under load. Its performance on an overclocked machine was similarly middling, posting temperatures of 28°C over ambient at idle and 75°C under load.

Much like its cooling specs, the DEEPCOOL Castle 360EX’s fan noise was also average for a cooler of its size. It posted a 46 dBa when its fans were operating at 100%. This is certainly not silent, but it won’t be noticeable when the cooler is tucked away in the tower.

Value-wise, the DEEPCOOL Castle 360EX is a decent proposition. It’s slightly more expensive than other coolers in its class, but it does come with a three-year warranty.

Overall, there are not many reasons to pick the DEEPCOOL Castle 360EX over other coolers on this list. Yes, Its subdued approach to RGB will be pleasing to many, and it’s incredibly easy to install thanks to its long, swiveling hoses. Unfortunately, it’s a bit loud and doesn’t offer the best performance for its price.

12. EVGA CLC 360mm AIO RGB

Radiator Dimensions: 396 x 122 x 28mm / 15.6 x 4.8 x 1.1” | Fans Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7  x 1” | Fan Speed: 500 ~ 2400 RPM | Noise Volume: 16 – 39.9 dBA | Warranty: 5 years

EVGA CLC 360mm AIO RGB_1

REASONS TO BUY

  • Top cooling performance
  • Represents good value
  • Great build quality
  • 5-year warranty

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Really loud at max RPM
  • Limited RGB lighting

Our Rating:   8.8/10

While many AIO coolers are all about pomp and circumstance, the EVGA CLC 360mm AIO RGB takes a more laid-back approach to aesthetics and focuses on performance instead.

Of course, this cooler still offers RGB, but it’s limited to the EVGA logo on the pump head. RGB fanboys will likely balk at that and prefer a more flamboyant design. However, the EVGA CLC 360mm AIO RGB is still a good-looking cooler, thanks to its aggressively styled fans.

EVGA Flow Control puts you in command of your AIO. With the software, you’ll be able to customize the RGB lighting, change the fan speed, control the pump, and swap between cooling profiles.

The CLC’s fans are one of its key selling points. EVGA claims that their fans offer superior performance due to their unique blade design and curved fan housing. Additionally, the fans come with Teflon bearings to ensure a long lifespan. Unfortunately, the housing should have been rubberized, as these fans are incredibly loud at maximum speed.

This cooler boasts good socket compatibility. Every major Intel and AMD socket is supported, including the TR4. Those searching for a cooler for their Threadripper will want to consider this one.

Coming with a five-year warranty and priced right in the middle of what you’d expect to pay for a 360mm AIO, this cooler is a good value.

On the cooling performance front, the EVGA CLC 360mm AIO RGB proves incredibly capable. It topped the charts during a test performed on an Intel i7, where it cooled the test PC to 3.5°C above ambient at idle and 31.7°C above ambient under load. It outperformed many smaller cooling units and the EK-MLC Phoenix 360mm. It’s certainly up to the task of cooling large, powerful machines.

However, the fans on this AIO cooler are exceptionally loud. At max speed, they soar to 60.4 Dba. You’ll absolutely notice this noise no matter what you do. It’s unfortunate because the fans really do a stellar job of cooling despite their noise level.

When it comes to raw cooling abilities, the EVGA CLC 360mm AIO RGB is near the top of the class. However, it’s held back by its very loud fans and lack of RGB integration. That said, if you have a Threadripper and are looking for a 360mm AIO at a decent price without all the bells and whistles, you’ll thoroughly enjoy the EVGA CLC 360mm AIO RGB.

13. MSI MAG Coreliquid 360R

Radiator Dimensions: 394 x 120 x 27mm / 15.5 x 4.7 x 1” | Fans Dimensions: 120 x 120 x 25mm / 4.7 x 4.7  x 1” | Fan Speed: 500 ~ 2000 RPM | Noise Volume: 14.3 – 34.3 dBA | Warranty: 3 years

MSI MAG CORELIQUID 360R

REASONS TO BUY

  • Easy to install
  • Radiator-mounted pump
  • Beautiful aesthetics and RGB
  • Broad CPU socket support

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Disappointing cooling performance
  • Noticeably loud fans

Our Rating:   8.7/10

The MSI MAG Coreliquid 360R is for the enthusiast looking for the full complement of RGB. It features flashy RGB lights on its fan blades and pump head, but it has another trick up its sleeve as well.

For the Coreliquid 360R, MSI has mounted the pump on the radiator block. It’s a departure from the traditional Asetek cooler design employed by most other AIO coolers on the market. It’s clear that MSI is looking to push the boundaries of cooler design, though the performance benefits of a radiator-mounted pump aren’t immediately clear.

The RGB lighting can be modulated by MSI Mystic Light. The software doesn’t control the rest of the cooler – just the lights – making it slightly inferior to other AIO cooler software.

The build quality of this cooler is certainly solid. Its hoses are sleeved in braided nylon, which offers more support and actually looks rather sleek. Additionally, the radiator and pump combo is incredibly sturdy and feels as though it’s made of high-quality plastic.

Installation of the Coreliquid is made easy by the rotating pump head. It swivels 270 degrees so that it can be installed upright no matter how you configure the inside of your tower.

The MSI MAG Coreliquid 360R can be used with virtually every modern machine, as it interfaces with the Intel LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, 1700, 1366, 2011, 2011-3, and 2066, as well as the AMD AM5, AM4, AM3, AM2, TR4, sTRX4, and SP3.

The performance test of the MSI MAG Coreliquid 360R proved to be a bit of a mixed bag. It got off to a strong start in a test on an Intel i9 running at 4 GHz, where it cooled the PC to 38.1°C over ambient under load. It trailed the Kraken X73 by about 4°C.

When the Intel was overclocked, however, the performance of the Coreliquid started to tail off. At 5.1 GHz, temperatures rose to 66.1°C over ambient, and the Coreliquid was outmatched by the 240mm ARCTIC Liquid Freezer. While these results are a little bit disappointing, it should be noted that the Coreliquid was never more than 10°C behind the top spot.

While the thermal test of the MSI MAG Coreliquid 360R indicates it might not be the best option for cooling a powerful PC, it certainly has a home. If you’ve got a smaller build and love the RGB lights, you’ll definitely get your money’s worth.
