Our Rating:   9.9/10

As our number one recommendation for folks looking for an all-white graphics card, we’ve chosen the RTX 4080 from Gigabyte. Not only does it look absolutely stunning, but it also offers amazing performance at a much more reasonable price point compared to Nvidia’s flagship RTX 4090.

On top of that, you get an excellent cooling system and decent overclock, courtesy of Gigabyte.

Let’s first go over the performance. The GeForce RTX 4080 AERO OC sits almost universally between the RTX 3090 Ti and the RTX 4090 in terms of gaming performance. There are titles where the 3090 Ti outperforms the RTX 4080, but on average, you get much better FPS from the RTX 4080.

That’s what makes it the first viable xx80 card for 4k gaming. If you’re not gaming on a 4k monitor, you’ll still appreciate the RTX 4080 for high-refresh-rate gaming on lower resolutions–For both 1080p and 1440p, this card is capable of producing 200+ FPS in most competitive titles.

For non-gamers, as a premium card, the GeForce RTX 4080 AERO OC will also be able to handle nearly all demanding work programs, anywhere from video editing software to graphic design software and audio production. There is nothing this card can’t handle at the moment.

And while some people point out that the 8GB less VRAM compared to the RTX 4090 is a big downside, the majority of users and gamers shouldn’t pay attention to this–16GB of the GDDR6X memory provided here is more than enough for any game or application for the foreseeable future.

The only users who should prioritize the RTX 4090 over the 4080 are power users who need that extra raw power to shorten rendering times, for example. Gamers, video editors, etcetera, should stick with the RTX 4080–Unless they have money to burn.

Now, besides the gorgeous design, the cooling system is also top-notch. It features the classic WINDFORCE fans along with a bigger heatsink and vapor chamber layout. It’s got some fantastic temperature control that you’ll rarely, if ever, push to higher temperatures.

Another big upside of this card compared to both previous generations and the RTX 4090 is power consumption. In our testing, we recorded a usage of 320W at the max power, which was around 12% less than its predecessor, the 3080 Ti, and almost 40% less than the RTX 4090.

While these are good news, you’ll need at least a 750W power supply–We recommend 850W-1000W if you’re going to buy a new one, just to be on the safe side in terms of future upgrades.

All in all, it’s an efficient card thanks to some key design decisions, but there are still some negatives despite it being a top-tier performer overall that potential buyers should heed warnings on.

These negatives include a much larger than necessary overall size for the card, making it hard to fit in some cases. And the much more important flaw is the massive price that certainly not everyone will be able to afford.

Overall, gamers who are looking for the absolute best white GPU, in terms of both performance and aesthetics, will be hard-pressed to find anything better. Except for the RTX 4090, of course, but the several extra hundred dollars are just not worth it at the moment.

2. ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 White OC Edition

CUDA Cores: 16384 | Base Clock: 2235 MHz | Boost Clock: 2640 MHz | Memory: 24 GB GDDR6X | Memory Clock Speed: 21000 MHz | Memory Interface: 384-bit | Max. Monitors Supported: 4 | Dimensions: 358 x 149 x 70 mm

ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 White OC Edition

REASONS TO BUY

  • Incredible overall processing power
  • The best gaming performance you’ll get
  • Big improvement over the 3090 Ti
  • Massive 24GB VRAM
  • Solid factory overclock
  • Outstanding cooling system
  • Gorgeous all-white design with RGB

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Premium price
  • Bulky
  • Power-hungry

Our Rating:   9.8/10

Our next recommendation for gamers looking for a white graphics card is the RTX 4090, this time from ASUS’ ROG factory.

If you’re on a budget, go ahead and skip this one. If, however, you’re looking for the very best and have the money for it, this graphics card has it all–From insane raw power to premium aesthetics, you could easily call this the king of all GPUs.

Design-wise, this is a beautiful unit. It features a vibrant white-based design with 3 large fans and a vibrant RGB strip on the side of the card. You do get some grey accents, but this is an all-white card that will fit right into a white-out build. Certainly, if looks are important to you, this one’s hard to beat.

When it comes to performance, you probably know what to expect. This is, so far, the most powerful graphics card ever made, and as such, it will handle all of your gaming needs without breaking a sweat.

Keep in mind, though, that purely for gaming, this card is an overkill. Most users won’t utilize the full power this card provides–The only people we’d recommend this card to are creative professionals, enthusiasts, and folks gaming on high-refresh-rate 4k monitors. If you’re not in one of these categories, the RTX 4080 will be a much better fit.

If you have the money, though, you can take advantage of some state-of-the-industry GPU performance standards, and you’ll be able to push off your next GPU upgrade significantly as tech catches up to the 4090. With over 16000 CUDA cores and 24GB of VRAM, you’ll be set for years.

Similar to Gigabyte, the cooling ASUS installed here is excellent. With the standard 3-fan design and a robust heatsink, you will rarely go over 65°C when gaming. Depending on your personal setup, of course.

In terms of drawbacks, there are three things to look out for. Firstly, the price tag of a used car will definitely put this out of reach for most gamers. Then, this card is massive–Make sure to double-check if you have room for it in your case.

And lastly, the power consumption. At idle, you can expect around 30W of usage; however, at max power, this puppy draws around 450W–The highest we recorded was 458W, which is just crazy. Make sure you have at least a 1000W power supply if you decide to pull the trigger on it.

Overall, the RTX 4090 from ASUS is the best white GPU if money isn’t an object. With such a powerful card at a significant price, however, we can only recommend the ROG Strix RTX 4090 card to those looking to really push the envelope. This can come in either high-demand gaming with max settings or some demanding work software for industries like video editing and graphic design.

In the end, less demanding use would be a waste of the card’s potential, and there are plenty of options on a lighter budget to handle it if that’s what you’re looking for.

For those who fit the description and are looking for a huge white graphics card to complete a case design, this card is a top-tier option that blows all competition out of the water.

CUDA Cores: 9728 | Base Clock: 2205 MHz | Boost Clock: 2565 MHz | Memory: 16 GB GDDR6X | Memory Clock Speed: 22400 MHz | Memory Interface: 256-bit | Max. Monitors Supported: 4 | Dimensions: 356 x 150 x 72 mm

ZOTAC GAMING GeForce RTX 4080 AMP Extreme AIRO White Edition

REASONS TO BUY

  • Gorgeous white design with RGB and gold accents
  • Powerful gaming performance
  • Outperforms the 3090 Ti
  • Better value than the RTX 4090 for gaming
  • Handles 4k graphics with ease
  • Suitable for professional use
  • Excellent cooling solution
  • Good factory overclock

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Higher price
  • Power-hungry
  • Bulky

Our Rating:   9.8/10

The ZOTAC RTX 4080 AMP Extreme AIRO White Edition is a gorgeous GPU complimenting a crisp white backdrop with the company’s standout gold logos.

Much like many of the high-end cards on our list, it sports a massive size, including 3 large fans to help manage airflow as it handles higher workloads with grace, helped along by ZOTAC’s IceStorm 2.0 cooling system that does a good job of keeping everything cool.

A string of colorful RGB lights also lines the outer side of this card, making it really stand out in the right case design.

As we mentioned in our previous reviews, this card is a bit of a step down in terms of price and power draw demand compared to the RTX 4090, making it a lot more approachable for most gamers.

Still, this card will be the crown jewel as the very best-looking RTX 4080 on the market, with some strong performance metrics to back it.

When it comes to gaming, this card is able to handle any game on any resolution, including 4k. If you do run into some FPS issues with taxing games, such as Cyberpunk: 2077, you can use Nvidia’s DLSS 3 to achieve your desired frame rate.

Other than gaming, this card will handle any you throw at it. That includes 4k video editing, 3D rendering, and any other demanding application.

If you found yourself on a crossroad between this card and the 4080 AERO from Gigabyte, you can just go based on the current price and aesthetics, because there is not a big difference between these two cards.

The cooling system is great on both cards–We recorded nearly the same temperatures during gaming, and in a similar fashion, the noise levels were more or less the same. The only notable difference is in dimensions, as this card is a bit longer. Other than that, there is nothing that should sway you one way or the other.

Lastly, the drawbacks are the same as with any other high-end video card–It’s big, power-hungry, and expensive. If you know what you’re getting into, none of these should be a concern to you.

All in all, if you’re looking for a white graphics card from Nvidia, this is another excellent option that will be the perfect centerpiece of a white-out build. It offers all you could ask for, with great performance, attractive aesthetics, and an efficient cooling system.

4. MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GAMING X TRIO WHITE

CUDA Cores: 7680 | Base Clock: 2310 MHz | Boost Clock: 2760 MHz | Memory: 12 GB GDDR6X | Memory Clock Speed: 21000 MHz | Memory Interface: 192-bit | Max. Monitors Supported: 4 | Dimensions: 337 x 140 x 62 mm

MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti GAMING X TRIO WHITE

REASONS TO BUY

  • Beautiful white/metallic design with RGB elements
  • Very high-quality build
  • Fantastic 1440p performance
  • Viable for 4k gaming thanks to DLSS 3
  • Outperforms the RTX 3090 in many titles
  • Power-efficient
  • Excellent cooling

REASONS TO AVOID

  • 12GB of VRAM could limit professionals
  • More expensive than the previous generation

Our Rating:   9.7/10

The Nvidia RTX 4070 Ti is the latest addition to the 4000 series of graphics cards, and the MSI’s Gaming X TRIO White version of it deserves a spot on this list.

Not only does it look incredibly stylish with the white/metallic look in combination with the RGB, it also outperforms its predecessors by a big margin, and even competes with the RTX 3090 at a much lower price point.

Similar to all 4000-series cards, the RTX 4070 Ti also sports the same third-gen RT cores, and other architecture improvements help this card across the finish line, following up on the poorly received RTX 4080 (12GB) for which this card is somewhat of a replacement.

This 4070-class card does improve well on the 3070 Ti line before it with a higher boost clock speed, base clock speed, and new-gen tensor and RT cores, as well as more CUDA cores.

It also does extremely well in competition against cards of the same class (and those slightly more expensive), including cards like the RX 7900 XT, RTX 3080 (including the Ti version), and even the RTX 3090 (not the Ti version).

Admittedly, it is still many steps behind the RTX 4080 and 4090 lines, with the 4090 representing an absurd exponential growth from release to release.

This makes it an amazing adept for competitive gamers playing at 1080p and 1440p who don’t have the budget for the more expensive cards. 4k gaming is still on the table, but we wouldn’t recommend it–But, with the help of DLSS 3, you will get by at 4k–More than with any other card from the xx70 series.

Now, when it comes to the aftermarket cooling from MSI, we have no complaints. The triple fan setup, along with the hefty heatsink, does an amazing job keeping everything cool, even when pushing your PC to the limit. It’s also very quiet.

As far as drawbacks, there’s nothing major that we have against this card. The power efficiency was a pleasant surprise, being the most efficient card out of the 4000-series lineup, as well as beating its predecessor, the 3070 Ti.

The only big concern is the VRAM, as 12 GB can be a reason why you’d be forced to upgrade in the future. Other than that, there is nothing that should stop you from buying this card.

All things considered, this RT 4070 Ti from MSI is the perfect white graphics card for high-end 1440p gaming. The performance is amazing, given this card performs similarly to the RTX 3090, and the aesthetics, cooling, and power efficiency are all among the best we’ve seen. It still doesn’t qualify as an affordable card, but for what you get, it’s an excellent buy.

5. ASUS ROG Strix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 White OC Edition

CUDA Cores: 10496 | Base Clock: 1400 MHz | Boost Clock: 1860 MHz Gaming Mode (1890 MHz OC Mode) | Memory: 24 GB GDDR6X | Memory Clock Speed: 19500 MHz | Memory Interface: 384-bit | Max. Monitors Supported: 4 | Dimensions: 318.5 x 140.1 x 57.8 mm

ASUS ROG Strix NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 White OC Edition

REASONS TO BUY

  • Still one of the best white GPUs you can currently get
  • Top-of-the-line performance
  • Stylish all-white construction
  • RGB elements onboard
  • Fantastic cooling solution
  • Beautiful design
  • 24GB of VRAM

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Still very large
  • Premium price
  • Outperformed by the newer RTX 4080

Our Rating:   9.6/10

The RTX 3090 is still one of the hottest GPUs on the market right now, even considering the release of the new generation of cards. On top of that, the customization done by ASUS’s Republic of Gamers division makes the ASUS ROG Strix as gorgeous as it is powerful.

Sometimes you have to be flexible to get a component that will fit with an all-white build, but the ROG Strix 3090 is all-white, plus the three RGB fans really make it stand out.

The 3090 is synonymous with raw power, and ROG’s adjustments have done nothing to take that away. It has basically the same memory, with 24GB of VRAM clocked at 19.5 Gbps, which allows image data to be saved locally and loaded far more quickly than with other, less powerful graphics cards.

The most demanding games currently on the market only require 8-12GB of VRAM, so the high video memory of the 3090 may be more than many gamers need for the current generation of games. The other advantage is a great deal of future-proofing; plus, if you also do a high degree of animation or video editing, this is going to be very beneficial to you.

The card is typically overclockable, but this is an overclocked edition, which uses built-in settings to quickly boost the 3090’s base clock rate of 1400MHz to 1890MHz, or a slightly more stable 1860MHz that they refer to as “Gaming Mode.”

Combined, you’re going to be able to run any game currently on the market at ultra settings, with well above 100 FPS. It’s not perfect when it comes to playing at 4k resolution, where you may run into some noticeable FPS drops.

However, for the more common 1440p gaming, it’ll be the refresh rate of your display, not your frames per second that’ll be the ceiling. We expect this standard of performance to hold true for the next few years at least.

Like most of the options in the 3090 line, this has three fans (RGB capable, in this case) and a fairly large, well-situated radiator. As long as you have adequate case cooling, this is going to keep the 3090 at an even temperature, even for extended periods of use.

If you’re going beyond, to the point where you need liquid cooling for it, that’s an option, but one that would require stripping away the stylish case, making this particular model no more beneficial than any other.

Now, as you might expect, this is not a small GPU. It’s 12.5 inches (318mm) long, 5.5 inches (141mm) wide, and 2.3 inches (58mm) tall. It is the tiniest bit lighter than the 3090 base model, mostly because of some difference in external materials, but still comes in at 3.9 pounds (1.8kg). You’ll need to take extra care to make sure it’s mounted solidly.

Overall, there is nothing bad to say about the card itself, apart from the fact that it might still be TOO powerful for some users. The main issue is that the RTX 4080 performs better at a lower price point, making this card very hard to recommend.

All in all, this is still an exceptional card that will serve you well in the upcoming years. It’s, however, not the best option with the release of the new series of cards and really hard to recommend at the current price point.

6. GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Vision OC 12G

CUDA Cores: 10240 | Base Clock: 1365 MHz | Boost Clock: 1710 MHz | Memory: 12 GB GDDR6 | Memory Clock Speed: 19000 MHz | Memory Interface: 384-bit | Max. Monitors Supported: 4 | Dimensions: 320 x 126 x 55 mm

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Vision OC 12G

REASONS TO BUY

  • Gaming performance approaching the RTX 3090
  • Allows for gaming at 4k resolution
  • Beastly 1440p performance
  • Powerful cooling solution
  • Beautiful aesthetics
  • Overclocked out-of-the-box
  • Two HDMI ports

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Bulky
  • Premium price
  • Outperformed by the RTX 4070 Ti at a better price point

Our Rating:   9.5/10

The GeForce RTX 3080 Ti available through Gigabyte, their Vision OC edition, is an attractive version of the card that doesn’t pull any punches. The exterior is brushed silver, a perfect fit for any of your more metallic-white build ideas.

It’s a simple, sturdy-looking design, and it gives a powerful, functional look to one of the best white GPUs currently available. Fans of RGB won’t be left out either, with a large addressable LED strip along the front of the card.

The RTX 3080 Ti is a midpoint between the 3080 and the 3090, and so offers 12GB of VRAM compared to the slightly lower 10GB offered by the 3080. It gets outperformed by the new RTX 4070 Ti at a lower price point, though, which will be a huge turn-off for the majority of buyers.

However, the 12GB of VRAM is going to be enough to run above 60FPS, usually up to 100 FPS and more on maximum settings for all of this year’s major games on a 1440p display.

There are a few games that will drop below 100 FPS (though not lower than 60 FPS), and you’ll have to either take a framerate hit or lower your settings to run anything from this year at 4K.

Gigabyte also set this up with built-in overclocking settings, allowing you to jump from the base clock rate of 1.37 GHz, all the way to 1.7 GHz.

If you’re sticking with a 1080p display, you’ll be able to keep running new releases at max settings and high framerates for a few years with this one. Or, if you’re looking to upgrade some old favorites to 1440 or 4K, this card will handle that without breaking a sweat.

If you’re trying to do both: new releases on a 4k display, you’re going to have to be okay with some small sacrifices. With higher-res monitors becoming cheaper and more responsive, this isn’t a perfect GPU for future compatibility, but for right now, it will get the job done.

Some versions of the 3080 Ti cut back on the number of fans, assuming that as a less powerful card, you need fewer fans. A big part of why we picked the Gigabyte Vision edition is that it does not fall into that trap.

The 3080 Ti was made to compete with the 3090 at a lower price point, and you need powerful cooling to make that happen. This version of the 3080 Ti has three powerful and carefully engineered fans for optimal performance, as well as a large heatsink–Overheating will not be an issue.

As another downside, this is one of the bulkier versions of the 3080 Ti that we found. It’s 12.6 inches (320mm) long, just under five inches long (126mm), and 2.2 inches (55mm) tall. It’s also 4.24 pounds (1.9kg), so there may be some clearance issues if you’re building in a smaller case.

As with the 3090, the 3080 Ti is one of the best white GPUs from Nvidia’s 3000 series, assuming you can get it for a fair price. As we mentioned, the RTX 4070 Ti is a better choice, simply because of the lower price and better performance. So unless you can get this one at a better price, we highly recommend the RTX 4070 Ti for 1440p gaming.

7. PowerColor Hellhound Spectral White AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT

Stream Processors: 2560 | Base Clock: 2424 MHz | Boost Clock: 2424 MHz Game Mode (2581 MHz OC Mode) | Memory: 12 GB GDDR6 | Memory Clock Speed: 16000 MHz | Memory Interface: 192-bit | Max. Monitors Supported: 4 | Dimensions: 305 x 132 x 50 mm

PowerColor Hellhound Spectral White AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT

REASONS TO BUY

  • Much more affordable than all of the other current-gen GPUs
  • Great performance for the money
  • Attractive all-white design
  • Quality build
  • High-performance metrics
  • Probably the best 1440p GPU for the money
  • Versatility of use

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Only one HDMI port
  • LEDs can’t be reprogrammed
  • Doesn’t leverage its power very well

Our Rating:   9.4/10

The launch of Radeon’s 6000 series didn’t manage to unseat Nvidia as the reigning king of GPUs, but they are still exceptional GPUs. More importantly, the Radeon RX 6700 XT has the added benefit of being the first card on our list you could buy for a reasonable price.

The PowerColor Hellhound Spectral White edition of this GPU makes our list because of the extra cooling, sleek all-white construction, and subtle white LED glow built into the chassis.

In terms of raw specs, the RX 6700 XT is closer to the 3080 than its nearest competitor, the 3070. It has a full 12GB of VRAM and a base clock rate of 2.4 GHz that can be boosted to 2.6 GHz. This is a common feature of AMD components: better raw specs and a better price, but they’re often not quite as smooth on performance.

In terms of gaming performance, it feels like it’s not making the best use of the onboard power. True, it’s capable of delivering 100+ FPS performance on all graphics settings for nearly all of this year’s games, provided you’re sticking with a 1080p display.

At 1440p, you’re only going to be solidly above 60 FPS for games that are more than a year old. On max settings, some of this year’s releases are going to be hovering right around 60 FPS or dropping slightly below.

On 4k displays, you’ll need to go back to 2018 to find games you can run on max settings above 60 FPS, but the card can still handle high-resolution displays if you’re willing to trade off either framerate or graphical performance. It’s fine for the price, we’d just like to see it perform a bit better for what’s under the hood.

One of the main adjustments PowerColor has made to this card is the addition of a third fan (the default model only ships with two), which is going to help with cooling and performance overall and allow you to have longer and more intense gaming sessions without worrying about the card’s lifespan.

The extra fan doesn’t add nearly as much space as we expected, and the whole GPU is only 2 inches (50mm) thick and is 12 inches (305mm) long and 5.2 inches (132 mm) wide.

In terms of connectivity, there is only one HDMI port, which we’re not a fan of, but three DispayPorts, so if you’re going for a multi-monitor display, you’ll need to hook them up that way.

Overall, this white edition of the RX 6700 XT from Powercolor is a fantastic white graphics card that offers excellent 1080p and 1440p performance–In many cases, better than its main competitor, the 3070. And on top of that, it comes with a beautiful all-white construction that’s gonna fit right into any white-out build.

8. Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC White Edition

CUDA Cores: 5888 | Base Clock: 1755 MHz | Boost Clock: 1755 MHz | Memory: 8 GB GDDR6 | Memory Clock Speed: 14000 MHz | Memory Interface: 256-bit | Max. Monitors Supported: 4 | Dimensions: 231.9 x 141.3 x 41.5 mm

Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC White Edition

REASONS TO BUY

  • Fantastic performance for the price
  • High-quality construction
  • Great 1440p and 1080p performance
  • Excellent for compact builds
  • Attractive all-white design
  • Great cooling solution

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Minimal LED lighting
  • LEDs are not programmable
  • Marginally outperformed by the newer generation

Our Rating:   9.3/10

Right out of the box, the Zotac Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 Twin Edge OC White Edition looks compact and powerful, which is exactly what you’d expect from a 3070 GPU. It boasts a beautiful all-white construction with large fans and an illuminated logo, but no other LED components.

The 3070 is widely considered to be the best price for the money of the new 3000 series, and after testing it out on some of our games, it’s not hard to see why.

Despite its smaller size, and lower performance (compared to the more expensive cards), we were able to run just about everything on max settings above 60 FPS, not just at 1080p but at 1440p as well (though there were a couple of more demanding games that dropped briefly below 60 FPS).

Admittedly, It does start to struggle with 4K, but older games, including competitive shooters, still performed well. This was surprising coming from a card with only 8GB of VRAM, 5888 CUDA cores, and a max clock rate of 1.7 GHz.

Now, this is a more compact version of the 3070, so the dual fans might have to work a bit harder if your case cooling isn’t at 100%, or if you’re going to put a lot of demand on it for extended periods of time. That being said, it holds up well and even runs fairly quietly if you’re not putting too much strain on it.

Size-wise, it’s more or less the standard width for most graphics cards, at 5.6 inches (141mm), but it’s only 9.1 inches (232mm) long and 1.7 inches (42mm) thick.

Lastly, there are three Display Ports, but only one HDMI, so if you’re using an older or cheaper monitor for multi-monitor displays, that might cause some issues.

The lower end of the 3000 series has fewer supply issues, but they still exist, so you probably won’t be able to find the Zotac GeForce RTX 3070 at the MSRP. That being said, if you do find it at an acceptable price point, don’t hesitate to pull the trigger on it.

This is a fantastic white graphics card that will allow you to smash most games on the highest setting at both 1080 and 1440p. It doesn’t perform as well as its more powerful cousins, but the price-to-performance ratio is probably the best in the 3000 series lineup.

Our Rating:   9.2/10

With the release of Nvidia’s newer 4000 and 3000-series, the 2000-series cards became much less sought-after, but still offer great performance for the most popular AAA titles.

What might be a big turn-off, however, is the fact that the newer 3070 performs almost as well as the 2080 Ti at nearly a third of the price. That being said, this is still a great white Nvidia GPU, and if you can find one at the right price point, can be a solid addition to your white build.

Since you are looking specifically for a white GPU, we will start the discussion with the visuals of this card. Including a white case, shroud, trim, and even fan blades, anything that can be white on this card is.

With angular features that look like many of the other high-end graphics cards, this GPU scores high in the visual department. Throughout the front side of the card are a number of slits where the controllable ARGB lights shine through, providing excellent accenting and personality to an already beautiful card. When it comes to looks, you will likely be hard-pressed to find a prettier card.

Looks aren’t everything, though. When you are spending this kind of money on a graphics card, you want to know that it works well. And you can rest assured that this graphics card still provides a great deal of performance, even to this day.

The ROG Strix 2080 Ti white is still an incredibly powerful GPU. With 11GB of GDDR6 memory and more than 4000 cores and easily running a solid 60 FPS on some of the most taxing games at 4k, as this is by far the most powerful card from the 2000-series lineup.

In terms of cooling, you get three installed fans sitting on top of a massive four-pipe direct-touch heatsink system with a massive array of fins. You won’t have to worry about overheating while overclocking the 2080 Ti, as it maintains powerful performance and cool temperatures even under the most stressful situations.

Until the release of the 4000 and 3000-series GPUs, this was the best white graphics card you could possibly get. Now, it still provides great performance and looks great, but is outperformed by the newly released cards. With that in mind, if you can find it on sale, this could theoretically be a good option.

10. GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 Vision OC 12G

CUDA Cores: 3584 | Base Clock: 1320 MHz | Boost Clock: 1837 MHz | Memory: 12 GB GDDR6 | Memory Clock Speed: 15000 MHz | Memory Interface: 192-bit | Max. Monitors Supported: 4 | Dimensions: 280 x 116 x 41 mm

GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 3060 Vision OC 12G

REASONS TO BUY

  • Lots of VRAM
  • Factory overclocked
  • Excellent for 1080p gaming
  • Fantastic cooling solution
  • Clean, white design
  • Power-efficient
  • Distinct programmable RGB strip

REASONS TO AVOID

  • A bit large for the relative performance
  • Not as future-proof
  • Limited 1440p and 4k performance

Our Rating:   9.1/10

GIGABYTE’s GeForce RTX 3060 Vision is almost completely indistinguishable from their version of the 3080. It has the same brushed silver exterior, the same programmable LED bar, and the same number of fans.

This might be a tad excessive for the least powerful entry in the 3000 series, but overclockers will appreciate the extra help. It is a bit thinner, but apart from that, you could be forgiven for thinking it’s the same card.

GIGABYTE’s really stretched this card to the limit as well, loading it up with 12GB of VRAM and boosting the clock rate from 1.3 GHz to 1.8 GHz. Even then, it’s not great for 4K, with any major titles from the last 2-3 years dropping below 60 FPS.

However, at 1440p and 1080p, you’ll see 60FPS+ solid performance, even from the majority of this year’s games. There were some higher-end games that struggled to get about sixty, especially on 1440p displays, so it might not be as future-proof as some of the other GPUs on this list.

Additionally, the three fans and large heatsinks have been carried over from GIGABYTE’s design of their other GPUs in this series, so you’re getting cooling powerful enough to handle a 3080 or 3090 on a card that’s not going to put out nearly that much heat.

In terms of size, the card is 11 inches (280mm) long, 4.6 inches (116mm) wide, and 1.6 inches (41mm) tall, making it a bit more suitable for compact builds, but probably not the best choice if you’re really tight on space.

Like most smaller cards, it only offers one HDMI port, but three Display Ports, which will be important to keep in mind if you have multiple monitors that can only be connected with HDMI cables.

Overall, This 3060 from GIGABYTE is an excellent choice for gamers on a budget as it’s the second most budget-friendly white GPU in the 3000 series. It still offers decent performance, especially for 1080p gaming, and the white design will be a centerpiece of any white-out build.

11. MSI Gaming GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Ventus XS 6G OC

CUDA Cores: 1536 | Base Clock: 1770 MHz | Boost Clock: 1830 MHz | Memory: 6 GB GDDR6 | Memory Clock Speed: 12 Gbps | Memory Interface: 192-bit | Max. Monitors Supported: 4 | Dimensions: 204 x 128 x 42 mm

MSI GeForce GTX 1660Ti Ventus XS 6G OC

REASONS TO BUY

  • Great budget card for 1080p gaming
  • Fairly priced
  • Strong aesthetics
  • Great cooling solution
  • Budget-friendly

REASONS TO AVOID

  • No ray tracing
  • Only a 1-year warranty
  • Limiting performance at 1440p

Our Rating:   8.8/10

If you are looking for a white graphics card mainly for 1080p gaming at a budget price, then you should strongly consider the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Ventus XS 6G OC.

It does not offer the power and performance of the bigger cards, but it works very well for compact 1080p builds and tighter budgets. Though, you should definitely consider the one-year warranty as you are weighing your options.

The front casing offers a large amount of blizzard white coloring while accents of silver, black fan blades, and an angular design make it look like a futuristic version of the ‘90s boom box, which is not a bad thing.

It may not offer any RGB lights to make it pop, but it doesn’t really need to. With an overall attractive design, this card is an excellent focus for a more compact build or an advantageous accent to a larger case.

A pretty graphics card, for sure, but also a GPU that provides decent power in its compact frame. Working overtime it can put out 1830 MHz memory speed from its 6GB of GDDR6 VRAM and 1536 cores.

While it is a lower core count and only six gigs of RAM, it offers a surprisingly fast memory speed for a card so small. While it can definitely pull decent FPS at 1440p, you will be right at home at 1080p, where this GPU can pull 100+ FPS on any competitive game if you’re willing to dial the settings back.

Being a compact card, the 1660 Ti Ventus only has room for two fans, however, they do provide an admirable amount of airflow. That, coupled with the direct touch heat pipe and a larger array of heatsink fins, means that the GPU offers a surprising amount of cooling capability.

Again, it will not have the same performance as a full-sized, full-priced GPU, but the 1660 Ti holds its own when it comes to keeping its cool.

Overall, the GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Ventus XS 6G OC is an excellent cheap white GPU that provides more power and cooling ability than many other small cards. One of the biggest challenges to consider is MSI’s warranty policy, but outside of this, you would likely not go wrong with selecting the 1660 Ti Ventus for a compact 1080p gaming build.

12. ASUS GeForce GTX 1070

CUDA Cores: 1920 | Base Clock: 1531 MHz | Boost Clock: 1721 MHz | Memory: 8GB GDDR5 | Memory Clock Speed: 8008 MHz | Memory Interface: 256-bit | Max. Monitors Supported: 4 | Dimensions: 240 x 129 x 42 mm

ASUS GeForce GTX 1070

REASONS TO BUY

  • Excellent for 1080p gaming
  • Smaller footprint
  • Nice aesthetics
  • Great price

REASONS TO AVOID

  • Older gpu
  • No ray tracing or DLSS
  • Limiting 1440p and 4k performance

Our Rating:   8.7/10

Sporting a more similar design to the Gigabyte visuals than that of its other ASUS cousin, the ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 is an appealing option in looks, performance, and price.

This is a solid budget card but, unfortunately, is not quite compact, and not quite full-sized. With a few minor setbacks, mainly in the form of performance, this is otherwise a decent white graphics card for gamers on a budget.

Sporting a solid white case with black fans and a large white branded logo on the center fan hubs, the ASUS GTX 1070 looks very similar to many of the other standard white GPUs discussed so far.

Unfortunately, there are no RGB lights to provide an extra pop. Additionally, at just over nine inches long, it is not quite the visual star of your build, but it also does not really qualify for a compact build. That being said, the GTX 1070 is visually a relatively fine option when it comes to GPUs.

On the performance front, this GPU provides adequate processing power. It sports eight gigs of VRAM, but only GDDR5, and while not the lowest number of cores, at 1920, it is far from the most. You will also be missing out on the ray tracing and DLSS technologies that only come with the newer RTX graphics cards.

With all of this, however, it is still able to put at a solid 1721 MHz in overclock. You will not be able to run the highest-level graphics on the newest games, but you should still get solid performance out of this GPU, mainly at 1080p resolution.

With a dual fan setup and an average-sized array of heatsink fins, the GTX 1070 does not have a ton of power when it comes to cooling. It does a decent job of beating the heat, but to really keep the temperature down, you may want to pair this GPU with some quality cooling solutions.

Overall, the ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 is a decent, older midrange GPU. Straddling the line between full-size and compact, it lives in this strange in-between world. While the price is fair, the performance is a little lacking, especially at 1440p and beyond. However, when it comes to 1080p, this GPU still has a lot to offer.

Additionally, while it doesn’t need much to keep cool, it seems that it needs a little more than it has. Visually, it definitely provides an appealing design, but without any frills or unique features. If you are considering the ASUS GeForce GTX 1070 for your build, you wouldn’t be wrong to choose it, but you may also want to consider some other options.
