It’s not the best fit for casual users because of its premium price tag, but it’s still more affordable than the MacBook Pro.

To start off, the ProArt Studiobook takes stylus experience to the next level. Not only does it perform exceptionally on the OLED touchscreen, with smooth, accurate, and responsive feedback, but you can also use it directly on the large trackpad.

The trackpad features the same 16:10 aspect ratio as the screen in order to avoid distortion and also Asus’ new haptic technology with 4096 pressure sensitivity levels to maximize accuracy and precision.

The stylus comes included with the purchase, but both the screen and trackpad work with any MPP 2.0 stylus you may already have. Unfortunately, there is no storage or wireless charging for the stylus, which is surprising for how premium of an offering this is.

One very unique feature of the ProArt Studiobook is the nifty dial at the base of the laptop. This dial is a tool for content creators to use when interacting with video or audio-based programs to easily scrub in editing software to call up a wheel to select different picture editing options.

It’s a weird idea that you’ll likely love if you’re someone who binds macros to mouse inputs or maximizes efficiency with certain key binds.

To start off, the stylus experience is pretty good and comes with some interesting features, and the stylus pen is included in the box, which is a plus. However, the included stylus is not full-size. This is a serious consideration if you plan to use the stylus for long sessions, as a smaller stylus may lead to some fatigue.

As far as the stylus experience, the touchscreen is highly responsive and snappy, and the same can be said about the stylus–It features 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity and feels great to take notes with or even do some creative work like illustrations or sketching out art.
